MetLife Legal Plans

Legal issues can arise at any stage of life—and the cost of professional legal help can add up quickly. MetLife Legal Plans give you affordable, convenient access to experienced attorneys and online tools to help you handle both planned and unexpected legal needs with confidence.  For a low monthly cost paid through payroll deductions, you can receive ongoing legal support for a wide range of personal matters—without worrying about hourly attorney fees.

You can view your benefit premiums in Workday during the enrollment event. Since costs vary based on the plan, your coverage level, and who you enroll, your premium will be tailored to your specific selections. For general rate information at any time, search “Employee Premiums” in the Workday search bar. Be sure to review your elections to see your exact cost.

Program Overview

MetLife Legal Plans provide access to a nationwide network of prequalified attorneys who can assist you in person, by phone, or by email. You also have access to online legal tools and resources for do‑it‑yourself needs. Best of all, when you use a network attorney for a covered matter, there are no copays, deductibles, or claim forms, and you have unlimited access for covered legal services.

If you choose to work with an out‑of‑network attorney, the plan will reimburse a portion of the cost, and you are responsible only for any difference.

How to Use the Plan

  1. Create an account at members.legalplans.com or call 800‑821‑6400
