Personalized Support for your Medical Care
UMR CARE has a staff of experienced, caring nurses (RNs) who help you get the most out of your health plan benefits. They work with you, your doctors, and other medical advisors to get the services that best meet your needs. Their expert CARE nurses can guide you before, during and after your medical care. They will listen to your concerns, answer questions and explain your options. UMR CARE is available to you at no additional cost.
What UMR CARE Offers
Personalized Support Plans
Whether you’re having a baby, have an emergency hospitalization, or need non-emergency care, UMR’s CARE nurses are there for you. Support includes:
- Assisting you during a hospital stay, after you are released, and with your home care
- Expert resources and support for living with many health conditions
- Navigating pregnancy with specialized maternity support
You can concentrate on getting well while knowing your CARE nurse will review your progress with your doctor.
After You’re Enrolled
Once you’re enrolled, you have access to your support online, over the phone, and through the UMR CARE app. You’ll receive:
- One-on-one phone calls with a CARE nurse
- No-cost educational materials and resources
- Confidential care
Who is Eligible for UMR CARE
You are eligible if you are:
- An MTM employee enrolled in a UMR medical plan, or
- An eligible dependent enrolled in the same plan
